Chronic disease and physical activity

In an article by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it is discussed that in 2005-2206 34% of adult population over the age of 20 were obese in the United States and how only 1 in 4 people eat 3 or more servings of vegetables a day.

Solution anyone? Try this-- Base your diet on vegetables, lean meat, fruit and nuts. Move your body everyday and have some of those days be high intensity workouts and some be low. For example, get off the couch and ride your bike, go for a walk, take a Yoga class, etc.

As stated above most of the chronic diseases are preventable with exercise and nutrition, so get moving and eat your vegetables!!!
